Amsterdam Parking shows live parking availability in Amsterdam. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, store or share any personal data on our own servers.
If you tap the location button and allow it, your device location is used on your phone only, to centre the map. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
When you search for a street or postcode, the text you type is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service (nominatim.org) to find its position. Like any internet request, this includes your IP address. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. The search text is not linked to your identity by us.
To decide when to ask whether you would like to rate the app, the app keeps a few simple counters (how often you opened it and looked at garages) on your phone. They never leave your device.
Availability data is fetched from the City of Amsterdam's open parking data service (p-info.vorin-amsterdam.nl). That service receives your IP address as part of the request, as any web server would.
Maps are provided by Apple Maps and are subject to Apple's privacy policy.
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
